I was born and raised in Cuba, where I studied engineering in automated systems before moving to the United States in 2022.
For a long time, my dream has been to develop apps for Apple devices. I’ve always admired the care behind their design—the elegance, ease of use, and attention to detail that make a product feel thoughtfully made. That same care is something I want to bring to my own work.
I created CUSP Ventures as a home for the different ideas, projects, and businesses I want to build over time. Right now, that means a lot of learning, experimenting, designing, coding, and figuring things out as I go.
Cusp Dev is the software development side of that work.
I’ve always been drawn to finding better ways of doing things—especially when the existing way involves too many steps, too much repetitive work, or a problem that everyone seems to have simply accepted.
That approach led to Crewer, the first software product developed under Cusp Dev. Crewer started with a problem I encountered while working in a construction business: keeping track of workers, projects, hours, costs, and invoices was far more complicated and fragmented than it needed to be.
Instead of continuing to complain about it, I eventually decided to build something.
That idea—creating practical solutions to problems I actually understand—is what I want CUSP Ventures to be about.
CUSP is still small. In fact, right now, it’s just me. But that also means the things I build here are personal. I design them, develop them, use them, change them when they don’t work, and keep improving them as I learn.
On the cusp of what comes next.
